Cucumber Peanut Salad

  • 2 tbsp Tamarind juice
  • 1 tsp Cumin Powder
  • 1 tbsp Jaggery
  • Salt
  • 3 Cucumbers Chopped
  • 3 tbsp Crushed Peanuts
  • 1 tbsp Roasted sesame seeds
  • Green chilli Chopped


  • Mix together tamarind pulp, cumin seed powder and Jaggery.
  • Add Cubed cucumbers, peanuts, sesame seeds and mix well.
  • Add salt and green chillis or black pepper.


You can replace tamarind pulp with lemon juice.
Soak tamarind in warm water for 30 minutes and blend for thick pulp. 
Taste cucumbers before using them as they can be bitter sometimes. 
You can peel off the skin if not using organic cucumbers.
