Tival futi kadi

After heavy meal in Konkan area, tival or footi kadi is served with last serving of rice. This helps to digest heavy spicy friend food. It is also cooling to the body. Best drink during summer time.

It is Ingredients

  • 5-6 kokum(कोकम)
  • 2-3 cups of lukewarm water (गुनगुना पानी)
  • 2-3 green chillies (हरी मिर्च )
  • Pinch Asafoetida (हिंग)
  • salt (नमक)
  • ¼ tsp sugar (चीनी)
  • 1 tbsp chopped Cilantro (हरा धनिया )

Method

  • In a bowl, Add 5-6 kokum
  • Add lukewarm water
  • stir it
  • Cover it with a lid and keep aside for 1 hour.
  • Add 2-3 green chilies
  • Add a pinch of Asafoetida
  • Add salt as per taste
  • Add little sugar
  • Add chopped Cilantro and stir well
