Paneer Bhurji पनीर बुर्जी

Delicious paneer Bhurji is quick to make and one of the spicy fast food. It can be served with bread or roti for breakfast or can be side dish for lunch. You can also use it to stuff wrap, sandwich breads, etc.

Dry Paneer Bhurji

  • 2 Cups Cottage Cheese Paneer (पनीर)
  • 1/4 cup Chopped Capsicum (शिमला मिर्च)
  • 1 Cup Chopped Tomatoes (टमाटर)
  • 1 tbsp Boiled green Peas (हरी मटर)
  • 1/2 tsp Cumin seeds (जीरा)
  • 1 chopped Green chilli (हरी मिर्च)
  • 1 tsp Chopped Ginger (अदरक)
  • 1/4 tsp Turmeric powder (हल्दी पाउडर)
  • 1/2 tsp Red Chilli powder  (लाल·  मिर्च)
  • 1/4 tsp Garam Masala (गरम मसाला)
  • 1 tsp Fenugreek Leaves (कसूरी मेथी)
  • Handful Cilantro (धनिया)
  • 2 tsp Oil (तेल)
  • Salt (नमक)


  • Take a pan, add oil.
  • Once oil is hot add cumin seeds.
  • Once cumin seeds crackle add green chilli and chopped ginger.
  • Add finely chopped tomatoes, boiled green peas.
  • Add red chilli powder, turmeric and saute for 2-3 minutes.
  • Mash the tomatoes using masher .
  • Add finely chopped capsicum and saute for 2-3 minutes.
  • Add salt, garam masala and Grated paneer
  • Mix Well . Cover and simmer for 2 minutes.
  • Add kasuri methi fenugreek leaves, chopped cilantro and cook for another minute.
  • Serve with bread or as a side dish with rice.
