Moong Curry Muga Ghathi Goan recipe

Mooga ghathi is authentic Goan recipe cooked during Veg days. It is tasty y with spices and coconut. Muga Ghathi is tempered with Curry leaves, asafoetida, red pepper and mustard seeds. Muga ghathi is served with poori or rice.

  • 2 Cups Moong Sprouts
  • Salt
  • 1/4 tsp Turmeric Powder
  • 8-10 Cashews
  • 1/4 th Cup Coconut pieces
  • 2 Cups Coconut
  • 4-5 Dry Red Chillies
  • marble size tamarind
  • 8-10 Black Pepper
  • 4-5 Cloves
  • 1/4 tsp Turmeric Powder
  • 1 tsp Jaggery
  • 1 tsp Oil
  • 1/2 tsp Mustard Seeds
  • 2 dry Red Chillies for tempering
  • 5-6 Curry Leaves
  • 1/4 th tsp Asafoetida
