Karela Sabzi Bitter Gourd Sabzi

Karela Sabji bitter gourd is healthy and with lots of medicinal value. Spicy, tangy karela sabzi can be served with paratha, roti or rice and dal.

Ingredients

  • 4 Bitter Gourd karela
  • 1 tbsp Oil
  • 1/2 tsp Mustard Seeds
  • 1/2 tsp Cumin Seeds
  • 5-6 Curry Leaves
  • 1/4th tsp Asafoetida (Hing)
  • 1 tsp Red Chilli Powder
  • 1/4th tsp Turmeric Powder
  • 1 tsp Cumin Powder
  • 2 tbsp Tamarind water
  • 2 tbsp Jaggery
  • 2 tbsp Roasted Crushed Peanuts
  • Salt
