How to make sabudana kheer

Sago Kheer

¼ cup sago/sabudana

3 tbsp sugar

1 cup water

3 cups milk

2 tbsp cashew

1 tbps raisins

¼ tsp cardamom powder



  • Clean, rinse and soak sabudana in water for 1 hour.
  • Drain water from sabudana
  • Boil water
  • Add sabudana and keep stirring to avoid sabudana to stick to the pan.
  • Cook sabudana for 5-6 minutes on medium heat.
  • Add Sugar, milk, dry fruits and allow it to boil for another  6-7 minutes or until thickens.
  • Add cardamaom powder and boil for another 2 minutes.
  • Serve warm or chilled.
