How to make rice broth



Take rice (white or brown), make sure it is clean.
Rinse 2-3 times with water. Drain the water. You can use these water to water plants
Boil about 3 cups of water for 1/ 2 cup of rice
Add rinsed and drained rice to boiling water.
Let it cook on medium heat for 20-25 minutes.
Add water as needed, Stir the rice every 10 minutes
Cook until rice is soft and cooked.
You can also cook rice in a pressure cooker for 2-3 whistles
Strain rice and collect rice broth.
For thicker rice broth crush few spoons of rice in a strainer and crush.
You can use rice broth for soups, sauces, roti dough, etc. Adding rice broth to any meal will make it more nutritious.
