Gluten free vegan Moringa Pancakes|Moringa Dosa

Moringa leaves Dosa|Gluten free vegan moringa pancakes

Ingredients

  • 3/4 Cup Chickpea Flour (Besan)
  • 1 tbsp Rice Flour
  • 1/4 tsp Black Pepper
  • Salt
  • 1/2 tsp Red Chilli Powder
  • 1/4 tsp Turmeric Powder
  • 1 tsp Cumin Seed Powder
  • 1/2 tsp Carom Seeds (Ajwain)
  • 1 Cup Moringa Leaves
  • 2 tbsp Oil

Method

  • Clean Moringa leaves, remove the stems and rinse with water 2-3 times.
  • Mix together Chickpea flour, rice flour, salt, turmeric powder, red chilli powder, cumin powder and mix well.
  • Add water and make a smooth batter. Add water little at a time to avoid lumps.
  • Crush Carom seeds in between palm of your hands and add to the batter.
  • Add clean moringa leaves and stir.
  • Apply oil to the pan and pour the batter on the pan.
  • Cover and cook for 2-3 minutes medium heat.
  • Flip and cook on other side for 2 minutes.
  • Serve with sauce or chutney, pickles.

Notes

You can make the batter and add moringa leaves when you are ready to make the dosa. 
You can also add vegetables of your choice to this dosa like carrots, cabbage, onion etc.
