Fruity nutty salad

Fruity nutty salad is healthy and tasty. The sweet taste from dates and coconut, crunchiness from apple and nuts, proteins from peanuts, omega 3 from walnuts, vitamin A from carrots. You can add tangy taste by adding lemon juice or orange juice if you dont have oranges. The salad is packed with nutrition, nuts and flavours.

Ingredients

  • 1 Medium size Carrot (गाजर) Shredded
  • 1 Medium Apple (सेब) chopped
  • 1/4 Cup Peanuts Boiled मूंगफली) Soaked and boiled with salt
  • 2 tbsp Chopped Walnuts (अखरोट) You can soak walnuts also or use toasted
  • 2 tbsp Chopped Dates (खजूर) deseeded
  • 1 small orange(संतरा) skin removed
  • 1 tbsp Pumpkin seeds (कद्दू के बीज)
  • 2 tbsp

    2 tbsp Fresh grated coconut (किसा हुआ नारियल)

  • Black Pepper (काली मिर्च पाउडर)
  • Salt (नमक)



Method

  • Clean and grate carrot.
  • Chop apples into cubes.
  • Soak peanuts for 4-5 hours and boil with salt.
  • Deseed dates and chopp into pieces.
  • Peel orange or you can use orange juice or lemon juice.
  • Walnuts can be raw, soaked or toasted.
  • Prepare coconut. If you are using frozen coocnut thne thaw it at room temperature.
  • Mix all the ingredients and add salt and pepper as per taste.

Notes

You cna use raw peanuts which can be soaked in water for 4-5 hoours. 
You can also use boiled peanuts. after soaking peanuts in water for 4-5 hours, boil them with salt. 
Roasted peanuts can be also used. 
You can use orange or orange juice to get liquid in the salad.
