Crispy spicy cauliflower


  • Cauliflower (फूलगोभी) (cut into small pieces)
  • 2-3 tsp Oil
  • Salt as per taste (नमक)
  • Turmeric powder (हल्दी)
  • 1tsp Red chili powder (लाल मिर्च पाउडर)
  • 3-4 tbsp Semolina (सूजी)
  • Water


  • Clean and cut Cauliflower into small florets
  • Add Turmeric, red chili powder, salt and add little water and mix well
  • Keep it aside for 5-10 minutes
  • Coat the cauliflower with semolina
  • Heat a pan, add oil and put the cauliflower on it and close the lid
  • After few minutes open the lid and flip the cauliflowers on another side and cook for 5 minutes
  • Put off the flame and keep the lid close for 2-3 minutes
  • Then serve it as an appetizer or side dish with rice and curry.
