Pimples on face can take away all the beauty and charm of your face. Here are few tips on how to prevent pimples and get rid of them.
1. Take few fresh mint leaves, wash with cold water. Mash them and place mint leaves all over your face for 10-15 minutes. Remove mint leaves pack from your face and wash your face with cold water. Avoid rubbing mint leaves on the face it may cause skin irritation if you already have pimples.
2. If you have oily skin, mix multani mitti with rose water. Apply it on skin. Multani mitti will absorb excess oil from the skin preventing pimples. Do not use this mask very often as it will dry up your skin. It is better to use multanni mitti pack once in 2 weeks.
3. If you are getting ready to go for a party and you see popped up pimple. Place ice on the pimple. It will push the pimple little bit inside. This is a temporary fix.
4. Dust and smoke is another reason for pimples. Wash your face with water and gentle soap or besan to remove all dust and smoke residues from the skin.
5. Add pinch of turmeric to besan and use this to wash your face once a week.
6. Apply mixture of honey and lemon juice drops to have a shiny and clear skin
7. Some have pimples on the back too. Boils Neem leaves in water. Use this water to take bath. Neem is good for killing germs on the skin as it has disinfecting properties.
8. Avoid using soap, cream or lotion which is made up of chemicals. Use homemade packs or ayurvedic preparation.

Natural ways to get rid of lice

Use natural ingredients to get rid of lice

1. Mix few drops of neem oil to your hair oil and let it soak for an hour and then wash it with shikakai or shampoo. Beware of strong smell of neem oil. Try this on weekends to avoid people running away from you.

2. Mix camphor with oil. Apply this oil to your hair and comb your hair with comb. All lice will come down. Lice don’t prefer strong and bitter odor.

3. Crush neem capsules and mix with hair oil. Massage deeply and wash hair next day to get rid of lice.

4. Do not share personal items like combs, brushes, clips, hair bands, hats, scarves, coats, brushes or towels.

5. Never try on hats or any head-wear while at a shop. This way you put yourself at risk of contracting lice. Never touch head to head with any person.

6. Take 20 drops of each of rosemary, tea tree and lavender oil and put them in measuring cup. Now, add vinegar to the essential oils and add double the amount of olive oil so you have half a cup of the mixture.
Apply this to your child’s scalp and leave on overnight. Wash off the next morning. If you still see lice use it again after 2 days.

7. Grind the seeds of custard apple. Add a little coconut oil. Mix well. Apply on to scalp and hair leave it for 10-15 minutes and shampoo your hair.

8. Camphor also helps to get rid of lice. Crush camphor, mix with oil and comb your hair after half an hour and wash it off with mild shampoo and water.

9. In the coconut oil fry Kadi patta/ curry leaves till it turns to black and use this oil in the night and wash your hair thoroughly.

10. One of the best way of getting rid of lice is to clean your head as much as possible, use conditioner to make your hair silky soft. Lice enemy is cleanliness….. So start the abhiyaan for clean hair and remove lice.

11. The best way of getting rid of lice is using a fine teeth lice comb. Wet the hair liberally with a conditioner and then comb the hair. By frequently combing the hair one can get rid of lice and nits effectively. How to cure cracked heels

When you start noticing cracks on your heels, cure them before they get deeper and start giving pain..

1. The most simplest and easiest possible way being followed since ages is applying coconut oil to the heels and then resting the feet in lukewarm water for 10-15 minutes.

2. Adding juice from half a lemon to warm water and resting feet on it also helps.

3. Massage the cracks with warm mustard oil or apply vaseline before going to bed and cover the legs with a pair of socks..

4.Apply vaseline, aloe vera gel for cracked heels.

5. fresh aloe vera gel can be rubbed to cure cracked heel as well as burning sensation of cracked heel.

6. Wash your legs well. In 1/2 a tub of slightly hot water(the water should not be too hot), put a handful of common salt and immerse your legs in it for 10 minutes. Just scrub one feet with the other. Even left over dirt in your cracked feet will come out. Take out your legs, and dry it with a soft towel. Now apply coconut oil or mustard oil , cover your legs with a plastic carry bag, or wear cotton socks and go to bed. Next morning, there will be a relief in your fissures. If treated like this daily, your feet will become soft and you will be free of cracks and fissures.

7. Mix parrafeene wax (melted)to coconut oil.(60:40 ratio).then,mix it thouroughly till it becomes like soft cream.apply this on cracked heals after warm water wash.wear sox and goodnight sleep.

8. Apply ghee/clarified butter to the cracked heels at night and cover with light socks. You will get rid of cracked heels within week. This will make your feet soft too.

How to get sparkling eyes

Sparkling eyes enhance beauty and speaks your mood and personality. If your job requires lot of strain on eyes like sitting infront of computer for a long time or reading fine print. Here are quick tips to refresh your eyes.

1. Rub both the palms of your hand together until they feel warm and place the palms of your hands lightly over your eyes. Hold this position resting for few minutes. Your eyes will look sparkling and refreshed.

2. Splash your eyes with cold water (not ice cold). You will feel refreshing.

3. After working on a computer or watching TV for a long time, watch some green plants this will soothe your eyes. It is a good idea to keep some green plant near your TV and computer.

4. Add 2 to 3 drops of rose water in eyes once a week. It will clean your eyes and act as a cooling agent in summer.

5. Close your eyes and cover it with your palm softly without giving pressure. Imagine any scenery, waterfalls, greenery or any lovely cool scenery. This will relax your eye strain and your eyes will sparkle. This was suggested by an old yoga teacher and it has worked out.

6. Put your two middle fingers on the temple and slightly press them and then move round and round this is very relaxing.

7. Fill your mouth with water and splash cold water on your eye. This will help to clean eyes from inside.

8. Sleep for at least 8 to 10 hours a day.

9. Drink lot of water and fruit juice to flush out toxins in your body. Avoid tea, coffee and aerated drinks.

How to get rid of fair skin

Everyone wish to have fair skin. Here are few tips to make your skin fair.

1.A healthy looking skin needs application of olive oil or almond oil everyday on the face by leaving this application for ten minutes and then washing it thoroughly.

2.Now rub! ask what to rub! I say rub a ripe tomato on your skin it will become very shiny.

3.To remove ! ask what to remove ! any dark spots I reply- Take the gramflour -2 teaspoons, turmeric-1/4 th teaspoon and little of milk them apply on the face and keep it for ten minutes everyday makes me fair and leaves no scars.

4.The rind of orange is dried and then powdered and then mix a pinch of gramflour and a little lemon juice and apply it as a face mask and kept it till drying and then washing it daily will make one fair.

5.Do you throw the lemon rind after squeezing the juice, here I suggest you one thing before throwing it rub it on your face it will improve your complexion.

6.Drinking herbal tea will help you in taking care of your skin.

Eyes are the first things that come in contact with anyone when you meet. Eyes are vital and sensitive organs. We have to be very careful when dealing with eyes and eyelashes to avoid allergies. 1. Apply castor oil to the eyelashes 4 times a week before going to bed. This will help the growth of the lashes.

I have few tips about getting whiter and healthier teeth
1. Avoid tea, coffee, soda or any aerated drinks.
2. Brush your teeth after every major meal.
3. Eat an apple or carrot after meal. Fibres in apple and carrot helps to remove stuck food in between teeth
4. Avoid sugary, sweet food
5. Baking soda and salt acts as a teeth whitener.
6.Crush strawberry and mix little bit of baking soda and salt. Brush your teeth with this mixture for whiter and shinier teeth
7. Drink less coffee, tea, soda, red wine. They stain teeth quickly.

How to use Besan gram flour for beauty

Besan is also called Gram flour. It is a flour made from ground chickpeas.
It is a famous ingredient for the south Indian snacks.

1 cup of rice flour
2 tbsp of besan
1/2 cup of wheat flour
1 tbsp of Haldi(turmeric) Please do not use ready made turmeric as it contains lead. Pick up home made turmeric from India or buy from whole foods.
if you have “amba haldi” add 2 pinches of amba haldi in addition to regular turmeric.
Sieve this miixture because you want it very fine and smooth powder to avoid scratching the skin.

2 times a week mix this mixture in fresh milk cream and apply after oil massage and give bath after 15 minutes.
