• 4-5 Kokum
  • 1 cup Fresh coconut , grated
  • 1-2 Green Chillies
  • 4-5 cloves Garlic
  • 2 tablespoon Coriander (Dhania) Leaves
  • Salt , to taste
  • Pinch of sugar


  1. In a bowl take 4-5 kokum, add ½ cup water and keep aside
  2. Take a blender, Add 1 cup Grated coconut, 4-5 cloves, add little warm water and blend till fine paste.
  3. Take a strainer and strain the coconut juice few times.
  4. Add 1-2 chopped green chillies, 2 tbsp chopped coriander, pinch of sugar and salt as per taste.
  5. Stir well the solkadi and serve.


Papad Salad


  • ½ cup finely chopped onion
  • ¼ cup finely chopped tomato
  • Finely chopped green chilies
  • 2 tbsp. finely chopped cilantro
  • 2 tbsp. grated fresh coconut
  • 2 roasted Papad
  • Salt


  • Take a bowl, add ½ cup finely chopped onion, ¼ cup finely chopped tomato,
  • Finely chopped green chilies, salt as per taste, 2 tbsp. finely chopped cilantro,2 tbsp grated fresh coconut and mix well.
  • Crush the roasted Papad and add into the salad just before serving.

Fairness Face Pack


  • Yogurt
  • Turmeric powder
  • Rice lentil Powder
  • Chickpea Powder (Gram Flour)
  • Water

To make Rice Lentil powder

  • Take a blender, add rice and red lentil and grind until fine powder.
    (You can store this powder in an air tight container for 4 weeks and use it.)

To make Fairness Pack

  • Take a bowl, Add chickpea flour (gram flour) to yogurt and stir
  • Add little turmeric powder and 2 tbsp rice lentil powder and stir
  • Add water as much needed to adjust the consistency and stir well
  • Apply the Face Pack to your face, neck and body and keep it for 10 – 15 minutes
  • Later, wash with water.

Face pack to remove suntan

  • Take a bowl, Add ½ tbsp. rice rentil powder
  • Rinse tomato with water and Grate it
  • Stir the mixture well
  • Face pack is ready to apply

Green coconut chutney


  • 1 cup grated coconut
  • Small piece of ginger (rinse with water and peel off the skin)
  • Salt
  • 4-5 Garlic cloves
  • 3 Green Chilies
  • Coriander Leaves
  • Lemon juice


  • Take of Blender, add 1 cup grated fresh coconut, small piece of ginger, 4-5 garlic cloves, 3 green chilies, coriander leaves, little lemon juice, salt as per taste and grind until fine chutney.
  • Green coconut chutney is ready to serve.
    You can serve the chutney with cutlets or samosa.

Baingan Fry Recipe-How to Make Bringal Fry-Eggplant Fry

Fried eggplant is easy to make and goes well with rice and curry.

Easy to make, tasty and need very few ingredients.

Medium Size Eggplant
3 tbsp Semolina
1 tsp Red Chilli Powder
1/8 tsp turmeric powder

Cut the eggplant into slices not too thick and not too thin
Add salt, red chlilli powder, turmeric to eggplant slices.
Add few drops of water if needed and massage the spices to the eggplant slices.Keep it aside for 5-10 minutes for slices to get marinated.
Keep pan on low medium heat, add oil as needed.
Roll eggplant slice into semolina so it gets coated on both the sides.
Place on the pan and cover and cook for 4-5 minutes on both the sides.

Boondi Raita is Quick and Easy Yogurt Dip Recipe. Boondi Raita Recipe is the easiest Indian Curd Preparation, can be made by adding bundi in yogurt (dahi / curd) and then flavored with some mild spices. It is a nice side dish recipe which can be served along with spicy biryani and pulao. It can also be served with chips, nachos.


Masala Milk


  • 1 1/4 liter Milk
  • 8 cashews
  • 10 Almonds
  • 8 pistachios
  • 2 tsp sugar
  • 1 tsp cardamom seed powder
  • 1/8 tsp nutmeg powder
  • 20 strands of saffron


  • Grind together all the dry fruits along with sugar,  cardamom seed powder and nutmeg.
  • Keep milk to boil.
  • Keep saffron soaked in warm milk for 10 minutes.
  • Add saffron with milk to the milk on the gas.
  • Add masala to the milk little by little and stir.
  • Let the milk boil on a low flame for 5 minutes.
  • Add sugar as per taste.
  • Serve warm .

Healthy drink to have in the morning with all good spices. Karwari Kashaya is tasty and healthy.

How to make Kashaya powder


  • 1 cup coriander seed
  • 1 tbsp cumin seeds
  • 1 tbsp fennel seeds
  • 1/2 tsp Fenugreek

To make kashaya  drink Karwari Kashaya


  • 1/2 cup Water
  • 1/2 cup Milk
  • 1 tsp Sugar (optional)
  • 1 tsp Kashaya powder


  • keep a bowl on medium heat , boil 1/2 cup water ,add 1/2 cup milk , 1 tsp sugar, 1 tsp kashaya powder when it boils and stir.
  • Boil for 2 minutes,Strain it using tea strainer. Serve hot.


Milk poha

Milk poha is a Goan speciality made during Diwali day.


  • 1 cup Poha/Flattened rice
  • Sugar
  • 1/4 tsp cardamom seed powder
  • 2 1/2 cups milk 
  • Dry fruits


  • Rinse poha in water, drain water and keep aside.
  • Heat milk on low heat.
  • Add sugar , dry fruits to the milk. Mix well
  • Add poha and cardamom powder and boil for 4-5 minutes stirring continuously.
  • Serve warm or chilled.
